Abstract

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is endocrine disorders affecting women of reproductive system, age and major cause of infertility, menstrual dysfunction, and metabolic abnormalities. This leads to hyperandrogenism, ovulatory dysfunction, and polycystic ovarian morphology, insulin resistance and obesity. PCOS are increased risk of metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes mellitus and endometrial cancer. In this interaction between genetic, hormonal and metabolic abnormalities. Nowadays, management PCOS includes lifestyle modification, insulin-sensitizing agents, ovulation-inducing therapy and hormonal natural medicine. Improve reproductive and metabolic outcomes by the medicinal plants like cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum L.), Turmeric (curcuma longa L.), Spearmint (Mentha spicata L.), Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis L.) etc.
