Abstract

In the last two decades, Information Technology (IT) has emerged as a transformative force, impacting personal, social, and public life, and significantly improving the overall quality of life. IT manages data and information in various forms—digital, text, image, graphics, or voice—and facilitates communication, storage, processing, and presentation according to users' needs.

It is the outcome of advancements in telecommunications and computer technology. IT helps optimize the use of scarce resources by providing intelligent information support for decision-making. It also aids in implementation by enhancing coordination efforts and reducing unnecessary delays.

Decision-making has become increasingly complex due to a competitive environment, limited resources, time constraints, and the pressure to achieve organizational goals.
