Author Guidelines

Articles on subjects of interest to the profession of company secretaries are published in the Journal.

Each author should submit only one article for respective issue.

The article must be original contribution of the author.
-
The article must be an exclusive contribution for the Journal.
-
The article must not have been published elsewhere, and must not have been or must not be sent elsewhere for publication, in the same or substantially the same form.

The article should ordinarily have 2500 to 4000 words. A longer article may be considered if the subject so warrants.

The article must carry the name(s) of the author(s), designation, professional affiliation, location, e-mail ID & passport size photograph on the title page only and nowhere else.

The articles go through blind review and are assessed on the parameters such as:
-
(a) relevance and usefulness of the article (from the point of view of company secretaries),
-
(b) organization of the article,
-
(c) clarity of idea/argument/articulation,
-
(d) whether the article says something new and is thought-provoking, and
-
(e) adequacy of references, source acknowledgement and bibliography.

The copyright of the articles, if published in the Journal, shall vest with the Institute.
-
The Institute/the Editor of the Journal has the sole discretion to accept/reject an article for publication.
-
The article shall be accompanied by a summary in 150 words and mailed to: cs.journal@icsi.edu

The article shall be accompanied by a ‘Declaration-cum-Undertaking’ from the author(s) as under:
