Abstract
This theoretical paper explains the relationship between employee engagement and digital innovation in modern organizational contexts. In an era marked by rapid technological advancements, the adoption of digital tools and platforms has become widespread across industries, fundamentally reshaping the nature of work and interactions within organizations. Amidst this landscape, the concept of employee engagement has gained prominence as a critical determinant of organizational success, productivity, and employee well-being. This paper summarizes present theoretical frameworks, empirical research, and business practices to understand the relationship between digital innovation and employee engagement. The impact of digital innovation on several aspects of employee engagement is examined, encompassing technologies like digital communication channels, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and collaborative software. The theoretical framework proposed in this paper explains the mechanisms through which digital innovation impacts employee engagement, considering factors such as communication, collaboration, autonomy, learning opportunities, and organizational culture. It explores how the effective integration of digital tools can foster a sense of belonging, intrinsic motivation, and alignment with organizational goals among employees. This paper also addresses the possible downsides and problems of using digital innovation to improve employee engagement. Issues related to information overload, digital fatigue, privacy concerns, and the digital divide are examined to provide a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved. This study is based on review of literature, thus, have few limitations which can be ful lled in the future by conducting the qualitative or quantitative studies for the same.
