Open Access Policy
Open Access Statement
IJCD is a fully open access, peer-reviewed academic journal. All articles published are made freely and permanently accessible to the public immediately upon publication, without any subscription, registration, or paywall barriers.
User Rights and Licensing
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) unless otherwise stated.
Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any lawful purpose, without prior permission, proper citation and acknowledgment are maintained.
Archiving and Long-Term Access
The journal ensures long-term archiving of its content via institutional repositories and indexing databases. All articles are stored and accessible through the journal's website and may be deposited by authors in their institutional or subject repositories.
Commitment to Knowledge Equity
As a socially responsive publication, IJCD supports the decolonization of knowledge production by ensuring access to high-quality academic content regardless of geographical, institutional, or economic boundaries.
Compliance with Funding Mandates
IJCD complies with open access mandates set by public and private funding agencies, including those requiring gold open access or green archiving practices.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
To maintain open access and support operational costs including editorial workflow, peer review, DOI assignment, web hosting, and archiving, IJCD charges a nominal APC upon final acceptance of the manuscript.
