AN EQUAL WORLD IS AN ENABLED WORLD ##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main## Abstract Started from the past till now women are treated as second gender in the home and in the society as well. Their health, education, economic and social status is considered as the least important topic to discussed and practiced in the society. Even today nearly half the womenpopulation didn't participate in the socio-economic decision of the family and society. Butwith the growing disparities among gender the economy is sustaining the damages because half of the nation population is women. Therefore there is a need to increase the participation of women in ever front which can be achieved with empowering women. This paper aims to discuss the enhancement in women empowerment for the sustainable development of the economy and for the world. Women empowerment have various dimensions, for the proper growth and development of an economy empowering women is crucial and need of the time. Women empowerment means giving equal power or giving freedom of decision to women in different aspects of life which can be related to their social, economic, health etc. With the increasing participation of women at global level it will result in the achievements of various odds and pacing towards the booming of an economy.
