Balancing Transactional Strategies for Teacher Preparation

Abstract

Awareness of the balancing in instructional Strategies in the Classroom is essential for quality of learning. We need to incorporate practical workable operational guidelines from all developmental theories and empirical research evidences. Cooperative learning strategies, self-control, self-management, ambition, independence, social interaction has been found to reduce intimidation in the classroom, which inhibits learning. Instructional Pedagogy in teacher education need to be based on the rationale of Constructivism and Objective Based Teaching (OBT) derived from behaviorism.
